Accoring to a report in the Saginaw News, a stabbing that took place at the Campus Village townhomes complex did not involve an SVSU student, although the victim, a 22-year-old male, was visiting friends that attend SVSU.
The incident is still being investigated. A call placed to the office of the detective investigating the case on Thursday was not returned as of press time Sunday night.
The victim, an East Lansing resident, suffered a stab wound to the abdomen and was transported to an unidentified hospital, treated, and subsequently released.There have been no arrests made in the case as of yet.
