Students must accept parking issues at University

In response to the Nov. 20 Vanguard Vision on the problem of parking, I must say that I completely agree.
As a commuter for the past four years, parking has been a frustration at times; however, there is no real solution to the problem.
The only thing that we can do is suck it up and walk. I have also spoken with friends from other universities and they encounter the same issues or don't think that our parking situation should be an issue at all.
People have to realize that, out of almost 10,000 students that go here (the majority being commuters), they are not going to get a parking spot in a lot designed for 230 cars.
I used to complain about parking spots, but in reality, it is stupid to do so. Have we really become that lazy in America that we can't walk a few extra yards?
