Club or varsity, hockey team can win

HOCKEY

The SVSU men’s club hockey team
won the 2009 American Collegiate
Hockey Association Division 3 national
championship. Despite this championship,
as well as recent appearances in
the national tournament, the hockey
team likely will not become a varsity
sport anytime soon. »

Little-known club team has big aspirations

Three years ago, two students created
a club sport that regularly competes
with about ten schools in Michigan
and one in Canada. Do you know

Turnovers and sacks lead to victory

In its most explosive performance this year, SVSU improves its record to 5-2 with a season-high 40 points

Head football coach Jim Collins
apparently knows what it takes to get
his team prepared following a loss.

week with a win. Saturday’s game on
the road against Tiffin University was

Tough competition has team hoping they can fare well at upcoming GLIAC meet

As weather gets colder, the Cardinals
men’s and women’s cross country teams are just
warming up.

NCAA National Championships, it is important

hope to compete with some of the country’s top
runners. »
