Senior Becca Rudey claimed first for the women's cross country team at the Northwood Invitational last Friday, posting a time of 18:36.67, over 32 seconds faster than the second-place finisher in the 5k race. The win is Rudey's second in a row; she also placed first at the SVSU invite on Aug. 31 (pictured) with a time of 18:57. Inclement weather forces a no contest between GVSU and Ashland
The contest between #1 Grand Valley and #25 Ashland was canceled due to repeated lightning strikes Saturday night. GVSU led 14-6 in the second quarter before the came was called. GVSU hosts Findlay next week. »
