In Los Angeles, 100,000 plus marchers protested on Saturday against tough U.S. House of Representatives proposed legislation that would increase the number of walls constructed on the U.S.-Mexican border and make it a felony to be in the U.S. illegally. »
The redesigned version of the SVSU Web site was officially launched on Wednesday, March 15 - at least the front page of it. Many visitors were surprised by the dramatic makeover and, as with all changes, there have been initial complaints. In general, regular visitors to the Web site have concentrated most of their feedback on what is missing from the front page rather than acknowledge the enormous task the University is undertaking. »
I have never liked Barry Bonds.
Despite the fact that he's a complete jackass - probably the one thing I think we can all agree on - my reasons for disliking him did not concern his personality. That would not be very consistent of me; I did write a pro-Ron Artest column over a year ago after the brawl happened. It all stems from the fact that I have been an Atlanta Braves fan for much of my life. I'd rather not get into a discussion about the Braves' ability to choke away championship after championship, so seeing as the Braves' top rivals in the early 1990s were the Pittsburgh Pirates (which Bonds played for) and the San Francisco Giants (the team Bonds moved to in 1993), Bonds has been enemy number one since I was in second grade. »

MTV has officially declared its "M" silent.
Seriously, MTV's music programming has been replaced with a slew of moronic reality shows ... except for last week, when MTV aired its stupid reality shows on the beach and called it Spring Break. It's pretty bad when MTV doesn't have to change its broadcast schedule to accommodate the drunken idiocy of its annual spring break coverage. »
