The Kochville Township Board of Trustees Tuesday unanimously approved the rezoning of 13.98 acres of land at the southwest corner of Davis and Pierce roads from single-family residential to mixed-use. The decision followed a unanimous recommendation from the Saginaw County Metropolitan Planning Commission earlier in the evening. »

A golf scramble, dance marathon, and staff versus faculty dodgeball game are new highlights added to the schedule for "Battle of the Valleys III," which will begin Sunday, Oct. 9 and end Friday, Oct. 14. Proceeds from the annual fund-raiser this year will be added to the Hurricane Katrina relief fund. »

* Students in Science West complained about watery eyes and irritation. It was indirectly caused from leaving a chemical bath on in room 119. The bath was heated and evaporated the water inside, eventually melting the test tubes within. The room was closed for the rest of the day and purged with fresh air. »
