With weekly track meets
throughout the month of
January, the Men’s and Women’s
Track & Field teams are starting
to find their rhythm.

The teams competed
in the SVSU Indoor
Classic on Friday against
several schools, including
Northwood University,
Oakland Community College
and running clubs from
the University of Michigan
and Michigan State. For the
Cardinals, it was the third of six
home meets that the team will
host during the indoor season. »

swept the Kentucky Invitational
for its first tournament win in

Second half comeback ends losing skid

With a 68-65 win over
Lake Erie, the Cardinals
ended a three game losing
streak.

The Cardinals trailed
27-21 with 4:48 remaining
in the first half before going
on a shooting streak of their
own. Freshman guard Kristen
Greene came up big with
back- to-back three- pointers
to knot the score at 26-26. »
