At the front of many Cardinals’ minds is the Michigan unemployment rate. Figures from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics show that Michigan’s unemployment for August descended two percentage points from its 14.9 percent peak in March, but that change may not be enough to instill confidence in students anticipating a rough job market after graduation. What should instill confidence is the number of improvement opportunities in students’ own backyard. »
A few weeks ago my bike was stolen. Easy now, easy; it’s back now, don’t worry. I wish I could say I got my bike back using Sherlock Holmes’ style detective work or Chris Farley ninja moves (consult Beverly Hills Ninja), but my bike has found its way back to my room because of pure optimism. »
