A 9-3 season for SVSU and its
first playoff appearance since 2006
wasn’t good enough.
It left the Cardinals wanting
more.
“I think anytime you lose a
playoff game like we did, it will
leave a bitter taste in your mouth,”
senior quarterback Charles
Dowdell said. “We will use that
loss as motivation for this season.” »
With ten players returning from a
team that finished fourth in the GLIAC,
head coach Frankie Smith thinks it’s more
about who’s returning than the incoming
