Roommate problems
• A resident from the First Year Suites reported to his resident assistant that his roommate was smoking marijuana in the bathroom Sunday, Dec. 6. The RA went and checked the situation and upon arrival, could smell the smoke. Campus police were then dispatched and found marijuana seeds. Housing and Student Conduct will now be handling the case. »
About 30 student-athletes volunteer their time Monday evenings to visit with patients and families at Covenant Hospital in Saginaw. This service project began in late September and was coordinated to allow SVSU student-athletes an opportunity to give back to the community. Planners hope to increase the number of studentathlete volunteers, and they plan to run it from September through May each academic year. »
