Student job network renamed
The College Central Network, which is a free-access database where students and alumni can view off-campus job openings, has recently been renamed the Cardinal Job Network.
Over the summer, a contest was held to rename the Network to promote its use to students. According to the office of Career Planning and Placement, 100 students entered the contest with two students picking the eventual winning name.
Merisa Musemic and Ashlee Laubon both submitted the name "Cardinal Job Network" and subsequently won gift certificates to Wal-Mart. All of those who submitted walked away with complimentary T-shirts.
