Air Force Captain compares SVSU leadership to military leadership

While a student at SVSU, I was inspired by the many outstanding qualities of numerous professors and SVSU leadership, especially President Eric Gilbertson. Now as a Captain in the U.S. Air Force, I have encountered similar qualities with my interaction with Air Force leadership (including General Officers).
What are these qualities? Just to name a few, integrity, respect, intelligence, humility, and a passion to make a difference.
I'm very proud to be serving my country as a military officer and just as proud to be an alumnus of SVSU. There is nothing more important in life than helping those around us. We don't have to give material assets to make a difference.
Providing outstanding leadership is just one of many intrinsic values SVSU gave me. Thanks SVSU!
