October 31, 2005 —
Oct. 13
* Two students received Minor in Possession (MIP) citations and Notice to Appear (NTA) citations in Living Center North (LCN) for alcohol violations.
* Six students received NTAs in University Village (UV) for having excessive amounts of alcohol.
* Four students received NTAs in UV for alcohol violations.
* A vehicle was impounded in J-3 lot for displaying a stolen parking permit.
* An illegally parked vehicle was impounded from UV for having excessive outstanding tickets.
* Room key reported stolen. Student indicated the key was probably stolen at an off-campus party on Sept. 30.
* Destruction of University property. A volleyball training device mounted to the wall in the Cardinal Gym fell when it was ripped loose. The new floor was damaged when the device fell. An investigation is pending.
Oct. 14
* One student received an MIP and NTA and four additional students received NTAs in Living Center South (LCS) for alcohol violations. One additional student received an MIP and NTA and was arrested for fleeing police.
* One student received an MIP and NTA in First Year Suites (FYS) for an alcohol violation.
* Two students received MIPs and NTAs and three additional students received NTAs in FYS for alcohol violations.
* Fraudulent use of parking permit in J-3 lot.
* Ten students received NTAs and one student received an MIP and NTA for alcohol violations.
* A student's vehicle was egged in J-3 lot. The shells from the egg also scratched the exterior of the vehicle.
* Five students received MIPs and NTAs in FYS for alcohol violations.
Oct. 15
* Police were called to FYS after an argument between a female student and her boyfriend.
* One student received an MIP and NTA, two students received NTAs, one non-student received an MIP and one non-student received a No-Trespass Citation (NTC) in FYS for alcohol violations.
* A student was threatened by his former roommates in Pine Grove Apartments (PGA) after an argument over dinner plates. The student had thrown away the plates belonging to the individuals after they had moved out a number of months before and not collected them despite calls from the student.
Oct. 17
* A non-student's car was impounded in J-3 Lot and they received an NTC after displaying a stolen parking permit on their car. The individual was caught when it was discovered they had stolen the permit off of the car parked immediately in front of their own.
Oct. 18
* Two-car accident on the corner of Fox and Pierce. No injuries reported.
* Arrest for campus trespassing in LCS. The individual had been previously evicted from LCS.
Oct. 19
* Two-car accident on Pierce, just east of Bay. The wind had blown over a detour sign. Some cars were stopped, trying to go around the sign, when one car rear-ended another.
* Three-car accident at the corner of Bay and Pierce. No injuries reported.
Oct. 20
* A student in FYS reported receiving threatening messages through an instant message.
* A student was reported missing in PGA after not being seen for a number of weeks. His parents were contacted and told police that he had moved to an off-campus location.
Oct. 21
* A high school student visiting the University had a seizure in the Ryder Center. The individual has a medical history and the teacher was properly trained to handle the situation.
* A student threatened an Admissions employee in Wickes Hall.
* Larceny of money from vending machines in Science East, Science West and the Regional Education Center. It is believed that the individual involved had a key to the machine since there was no evidence of forced entry.
Oct. 22
* Disorderly conduct. A group of students dropped a pumpkin from the balcony of FYS.
* Fraudulent use of an ATM card. An investigation is pending.
* A student in LCS reported receiving threatening messages on Facebook from her ex-boyfriend.
Oct. 24
* A student reported having head pains and trouble breathing in Zahnow Library. The student was taken to the hospital via ambulance.
Oct. 26
* Six Cardinals folding chairs were stolen from the Ryder Center.
