Nearly 200 graduates attended Commencement ceremonies in O'Neill Arena, Monday, Aug. 22 and heard the honorable Thomas L. Ludington, chief judge of the 42nd Circuit Court deliver the keynote address.
Ludington has been a local law fixture for almost 25 years, beginning with his work at the Saginaw firm of Currie Kendall, P.C. in 1980. He is presently involved in a number of philanthropic activities which include duties as the director of the Albion College Board of Trustees; director of the Rollin M. Gerstacker Foundation and member of the Saginaw Valley Torch Club. Ludington also serves as the director of the Saginaw Valley State University Foundation.
In all, 360 students graduated - 206 receiving bachelor's degrees and 154 receiving master's degrees or education specialist degrees.
