Road arrests

• On Sunday, Oct. 18, a 19-yearold male was arrested for operating a vehicle under the influence of drugs. Police stopped him at Pierce and Davis roads for a missing headlight and license plate light.

Police say the driver appeared drunk but passed a breathalyzer test. The man admitted to attending a party with drugs and alcohol, but said he had not used either.

• A wanted man was arrested on Pierce Road late in the evening on Saturday, Oct. 24.

He was pulled over for a routine traffic stop when officers discovered warrants out for his arrest. MIPs

• A 19-year-old male student from First Year Suites received a minor in possession citation at the football game Saturday, Oct. 17.

The student appeared to be urinating on the stadium. An officer deemed him drunk, escorted him out and issued him the citation.

• Two nonstudent minors failed breathalyzer tests and received citations at First Year Suites on Sunday, Oct. 18.

The two residents, who weren’t drinking, received notices to appear in court.

A resident assistant had received a noise complaint and requested help from University Police. Break-in

• A student at University Village West apartments told police her former boyfriend damaged her apartment Oct. 24. She decided not to press charges.

Suspicious behavior

• On Thursday, Oct. 22, at 3:30 p.m. a female student reported being stalked by a male in Curtiss Hall. The reason for his following her is unknown, and the case is still under investigation.

Larceny

• On Monday, Oct. 19, an 18-yearold student reported having had her cell phone pickpocketed at the C-Store.

The woman said she remembers putting the phone in her pocket as she walked into the store. After making her purchases, she realized the device was gone.

Police have watched the surveillance tapes but said nothing is observable. The case remains open.

• On Thursday, Oct. 22, a wallet was returned to its owner, a resident of Living Center Southwest.

The student had lost his wallet and reported it missing earlier in the week. The wallet was found in the University Village West’s outgoing mailbox.

The money originally inside it was missing.

An investigation is ongoing.

Sports injury

• Two students received injuries during a flag football game Monday, Oct. 19 at 5:35 p.m.

The two men collided, causing a cut in one’s forehead and a chipped tooth for the other. Both went to the University’s health clinic for treatment.
