Cyber Haunted House
The Student Technology Center and Instructional Technology Development Labs will be sponsoring a Cyber Haunted House today through the Wednesday. The event is open to students, faculty and staff, and are all eligible to enter a drawing for a free iPod Touch.
The haunted house will take place in Zahnow 214 today from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m., Tuesday from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Wednesday from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Admission is free.
Student teaching applications to be accepted starting Nov. 1
The College of Education will begin accepting student teaching applications for the fall 2008 semester online from Nov. 1 through the 30. All students must have attended one of the October information sessions to receive details about applying online, the orientation meeting and the all-day seminar dates. Sims public speaking competition
The 18th annual Sims Public Speaking Competition will take place on Friday, Nov. 9 and the registration deadline is Tuesday, Oct. 30. Students can give a five to eight minute persuasive speech. The event is free to enter. Cash prizes will also be awarded.
