County College Night
Saginaw Valley State University will host the 2007 Saginaw County College Night tonight.
All interested students and parents are invited to take advantage of the once-a-year opportunity to speak with college and university admission representatives from more than 50 colleges and universities from within and outside Michigan. Representatives of the U.S. Armed Forces will also be present.
The program runs from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Two financial aid presentations are scheduled to begin promptly at 6:45 p.m. and 7:25 p.m.

President's open forum
President Gilbertson will hold his monthly open forum on Wednesday, Oct. 24 at 5 p.m. in the Alumni Lounge.
All students, faculty and staff members are welcome to come and discuss University issues.
Suicide prevention forum
A team of nursing students is hosting a forum to increase awareness on campus about how to prevent suicide and risky behavior. Known as the Yellow Ribbon Campaign for Suicide and Risky Behavior Prevention, the forum will feature speakers from a variety of organizations, including SVSU Counseling and Health Services.
It will be held Wednesday, Oct. 24 at 7:30 p.m. in the Alan Ott Auditorium in the Regional Education Center. SVSU students, faculty and staff are invited to attend.
