Breaking and entering, burglary reported

Thursday, August 23
- Breaking and entering alarm in Zahnow Library.
- Department assist. Vechicle accident on Bay and Kochville Rds. One individual was injured in the collision.
- Vehicle accident in B-Lot during freshman move-in. Both parties remained at the scene and no tickets were issued.
Saturday, August 25
- Individual charged with operating while intoxicated and possession of marijuana. One MIP was issued to the passenger.
- Report of plagiarism. Student stole another's paper and attempted to turn it into the same professor for credit.
- MIP issued in Living Center South.
- Disorderly conduct in University Village.
Sunday, August 26
- One MIP issued in Living Center South. Individual was transported to the hospital.
- Department assist. Pedestrian was struck by a vehicle while attempting to cross the road. The pedestrian, a student at SVSU, died as result of the injuries sustained in the collision.
- Department assist. Report of individual trespassing at Cardinal Townhomes. Individual was arrested on outstanding warrant.
- Burglary in University Village. A Nintendo Wii, controllers and various game accessories were taken. Remains under investigation.
Monday, August 27
- Breaking and entering in University Village. Individual reported that an intruder entered the room while they were sleeping and stole the house key.
- Hit and run vehicle accident in University Village West parking lot.
- Department assist. Intoxicated individual lying on the ground at The Quad movie theater.
- Larceny of a wristwatch from Living Center North. The property was later recovered by the individual reporting the theft.
Tuesday, August 28
- Hit and run vehicle accident in Lot J-3.
Wednesday, August 29
- Suspicious person reported in First Year Suites. The individual was issued a no trespass letter, barring them from campus.
- Two MIPs issued in First Year Suites.
- Two MIPs issued in Living Center North.
- Larceny of keys from Living Center North. The incident remains under investigation.
Thursday, August 30
- Breaking and entering alarm at RFoC.
- Department assist. 250 disorderly juveniles reported at The Quad movie theater.
Monday, September 3
- Attempted suicide in Pine Grove Apartments. Individual was transported to the hospital.
- Individual charged with driving while license was suspended. The original traffic stop on Bay Rd. was for speeding.
Thursday, September 6
- Hit and run vehicle accident in Lot G-1.
