Globetrotters take on Saginaw
The Harlem Globetrotters will be appearing at the Dow Event Center Wednesday at 7 p.m. Tickets can be purchased at the The Dow Event Center Box Office and through Ticketmaster. I've got my money on the Nationals.
Glass specialist exhibits work in Midland
An exhibition of Paul Stankard's art will be featured at the Alden B. Dow Museum of Science and Art in Midland tomorrow from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Stankard's art utilizes a process of melting and manipulating glass rods to form figures.

Opera vocalist visits SVSU
Soprano singer Audrey Luna will perform at SVSU Saturday, at 7 p.m. in the Rhea Miller Recital Hall. Luna has traveled around the world performing opera and contemporary music, including a performance in Vienna at the opening of the Schoenberg Institute. Admission is free.
Woodcarvers in Saginaw
A free woodcarving demo will be open to the public at The Antique Warehouse this Saturday from 12 to 4 p.m. The Tri-County Woodcarvers will demonstrate time-honored wood-carving techniques to the audience.
