Wendy's food quality slowly dwindling

If human beings had a life span two to three times greater than they currently do, the quality of the Wendy's hamburger would not be in decline. R. David Thomas, founder of Wendy's, personally made sure that the quality of the food that was being served in his establishments was the best it could possibly be. His prices were low and yet the quality remained high because he wasn't in it just to turn a profit, he wanted to give the people a better, more affordable place to eat.
But with his death in 2002, the prices have gone up considerably on many items and yet I feel that the quality has gone down. If Dave were alive another 100 or so years, he would ensure that the standards of his restaurants never lessened and that his prices remained as low as possible.
Wendy's was always a place I could go and know that I wouldn't be eating a bottom of the barrel second rate substitute meat patty. If Wendy's food becomes inedible waste like all the others, then I may be forced to cook my own food and that just won't do.
