Student art exhibit underway
The second annual SVSU Student Art Exhibit will be concluding this week. The exhibit features works of current SVSU art students in all mediums. »
The Student Research and Creativity Institute has awarded several students over $35,000 in funding for various scholarly proposals. Executive Assistant to the President Carlos Ramet, who oversees the SCRI committee, and Administrative Assistant Debbie Marsh shared that many of the students have already gotten a jump-start on their projects. »
At the end of last semester, students expressed some concern over what the Cardinal Cage would look like if Independent Bank moved its branch from Wickes Hall to the Student Life center. »

SVSU's Board of Control delayed passing a budget for the 2007-2008 fiscal year at its formal meeting on June 11. The Board will convene in early July for an emergency session in hopes of passing a revised budget. »
Summertime is usually when people and departments at SVSU are shaken up, and this summer is no exception for Information Technology Services. The walk-in support center on the second floor of Wickes Hall is going to be moving to the 66 Building north of the police station. In its place, the nursing program will expand operations. »
