Grudge 2 offers plenty of confusion, very few scares

I would like to take a moment to send a great big "Thank you" to all the moviegoers who made The Grudge such a big success. Without all of you, there would have been no sequel. And I shudder to think where I would be without The Grudge 2. »

Eastwood courageously raises Flags of Our Fathers

Flags of Our Fathers, the new film directed by Clint Eastwood, takes a very different approach to a film set in World War II. Through multiple disjointed narratives, the movie slowly pieces together the story of the Battle of Iwo Jima. Whilst doing so, it covers a variety of themes including a rare look at Native American involvement with World War II. While not one of the best movies of the year, Flags of Our Fathers does provide an interesting and entertaining view of World War II. »

'Free' magazines not worth the price

By asking the question, "Are you watching closely?" The Prestige quickly clues its audience into exactly what they need to be doing for the rest of the movie. A good thing on one level, but too straightforward on another. »

Copyrighted videos may disappear from Youtube

YouTube.com, the Web site that has grown popular because of its wide range of video content, may have to eliminate a large portion of its videos in the near future. With copyright infringement lawsuits potentially looming, YouTube will either have to gain permission from record labels, film companies, etc. or be forced to remove copyrighted material from the site. This could mean no more James Blunt videos readily available to watch online. What a shame. »
